Ping and traceroute are real — genuine probes run from a dedicated Packet Mill box, not canned responses. The Node picker below is flavor, not a routing choice — every probe runs from the same box regardless of which one's selected. BGP is still a mock response for now; same typed provider interface, a real route-server integration can drop in later without a page rewrite.
